Learned a few new things! My Affinity Publisher tip would be switching back and forth between the layout and preview mode using CTRL+SHIFT+W. This helps me judge spacing at a macro level more easily.

Ctrl+Shift+W is life. I obsessively click the guides vs. preview on and off while working!
Excellent article as always, but a note to anyone confused as to why they can't find fields.
I found I was unable to access them through VIEW > STUDIO.
For whatever reason, on my version of Affinity I was able to find them via the path WINDOW > REFERENCES > FIELDS
V1 user, guilty as charged.
