I'm not super duper into board games but this? This was a really great read! I would love to read a post on worker placement in the future, can't wait to see it.
Agreed that Obsession is a really good game with interesting mechanics (not my favorite theme though). It almost doesn't feel like worker placement since you aren't really using your workers for action selection but more as a currency. Definitely excited to play more and explore the game.
Absolutely agree on it barely being worker placement. Curious if it gets listed that way on BGG more for the theme than for the actual mechanism? Either way, really enjoying the game!

I think you would really enjoy Obsession because of the theme. Every bit of flavor text on the guest/gentry cards is a joy to read.
