I love this idea. I have found the core of Carta games to be fairly boring; one card is never any different from any other, so you have no information to guide your choices. Implementing rules to add some strategy (or maybe tactics?) to the flipping of the cards could definitely make this system more interesting.

Yeah it increases player agency without much overhead (eg making the cards during setup). I really enjoyed it.
